Anyone who knows Teresita would agree she is a born fashion entrepreneur. From an early age she learned about retail & design by working after school and weekends in her mother’s party supplies and decorating business.
By the age of 16, Teresita set out on her first venture as a co-owner, buyer and visual merchandiser of a pre-teen fashion boutique called MiniDivas. This experience ignited her curiosity leading her to pursue her formal education in Miami studying Fashion Merchandising and later in New York studying Fashion Styling and Image Consulting.
Back in Panama, following her dream to become a Fashion designer, Teresita opened her own atelier, offered image consulting services, established herself as a fashion blogger and launched her first collection for Teresita Orillac at Panama Fashion Week. Thousands of miles after, Teresita moved to Dubai and launched her latest luxury women’s ready-to-wear cruise collection “Into the Jungle” inspired on Panama’s exotic birds at London Fashion Week A/W 2015.
She has already established her second brand T.O by Teresita Orillac for workwear & contemporary uniforms and she isn’t finished yet. Word on the street says she is working on a future maternity collection. Can’t wait to see it!
